We know so far it has 4 masts... 2x3S cannon and 2?'s, and is Spanish.

There's only a few willing to spend that much on a 'dead' game... Wink

This one is new to me. Confused

I checked every spreadsheet and data file I had for every set from DJC through RSS but did not find a "Castique" anywhere. If this actually is a real ship, it was designed separately and wasn't part of any of the main sets. If that's the case, it wouldn't be the first time it happened - I never got to see the design info on the second set of DJC LEs either.

------------------------
I did see Ochobrazo in a couple different places though, as it kept tumbling further and further into oblivion. When last seen, it looked like this:

Ochobrazo
Spain
27 Points
0 cargo
L base move
3S (x8) cannons
Octopus. Fear.

can't wait to see it! I'm glad someone on these boards won it. If you could get a few picture of the box itself too, I'm kind of interested in how its put together...it being a giant bottle and all...and probably one of the more interesting packages they ever created for Pirates.

Castique? Can't say I've heard of it. Maybe it's a known ship with all the text in Spanish? But then again, most Spanish ships have untranslated Spanish names anyway, so maybe not. And you got a Siab? I didn't think any had actually been produced! Maybe one of those scenario books will turn up next...

It's a bit of a strange name for a Spanish ship...It would seem it's more French than anything(hmm...Castique, as in sarcastique? That's a little worrisome to me, especially when I couldn't see how the name could be on the ship, though it was perhaps at the bow - I guess we'll find out soon enough.)

This "Castique" may very well put a capital "C" into Old_Man's title. Hopefully not, though, I'm very interested to see this! Very Happy

Its a bit strange the seller remained so mysterious about it, and it took him until the end of the auction to read the bloody name...

Oh, I got the name very early, but won't share it, hope you understand Wink

But I want to save the Siab for this beautifull community, that it's not lost in the unknown and especially for my collection.

So I put some money aside for my bidding and some extra cash for fine dine with old_woman for accepting that I've to spend money for some cheap styrene.

Yep, I had the ship's name 3 days or so after my first post about the seller saying it was "real", but decided not to share it until after the auction, knowing it would encourage insane bidding.

And let's face it, we all knew Old_Man would win anyway, but at least that he would share all info promptly.

I dropped out at $125, so that means at least one other bidder was almost as crazy as Old_Man, taking it several bids further than myself!

Now I can spend that money on the new WAS:CZ set coming out June 8th instead! Heh.

exactly $125.99 Wink

We were 4 high-bidders

And I made a stupid bid, so that only a really crazy last second sniper could overtrump me Twisted Evil
