quote from woelf:
The limited stats shown match up to the House Liao Zibler (http://www.warrenborn.com/Unit.php?ID=DOM049), but the picture is completely wrong - that's a Clan Sea Fox Solitaire (http://www.warrenborn.com/Unit.php?ID=AN049).

I thought so! I wonder if just anyone can make changes?

It's been quite some time since I wrote this review, so I can't remember now why I thought it was a medium 'mech. It is indeed a light 'mech; well spotted Stewypots! I'll go back and correct those references.

I appreciate your reviews, it is always nice to hear what other people think of minis. I will offer one change to your review, it is not an opinion, just an observation as there may be players who use house rules like I do. The wolfhound is a light mech not a medium. So if anyone were to want to use equipment on it they would need the correct weight class. Thank again for all of your reviews!

Combat Technicians (Veteran) MechWarrior: Dark Age In the discussion on the Miniature "Combat Technicians (Veteran)"
darphpopeye United States
Avatar for darphpopeye
Combat technicians are basicly soldiers who "FIX" first and shoot defensively second. The combat tech is there to fix the Mechs, Artillery, vehicles and Vtols. When they are done with them then They get to perform a close range firefight. If the right circumstance shows itself the Combat Tech can be used to fix( Break) an enemy vehicle or Mech if they survive the combat!

Some of the Bellona Hover Tanks have one shot or two shots Either way: They can still get the job done with minimal to moderate damage received.

Skadi Swift Attack VTOL (Veteran) MechWarrior: Dark Age In the discussion on the Miniature "Skadi Swift Attack VTOL (Veteran)"

This Vtol aircraft looks like a cousin from the movie Avatar!
The Attack quantity of 1 is also a little lacking. Maybe 1 Engery & one Ballistic shots to balance it out would or SHOULD be better. Air Support and Escort missions should be the primary mission for this vehicle.

This fighter maybe what all fighters mutate into in maybe 50 years or so! The range is excellent and the only lacking thing with it is the one ranged shot. I should think that this should have at least 2 shots. One shot for the Energy weapon and one for Ballistic. This should then make it look like a real strike fighter!. This vtol beggs for the Close Air Support or air to air missions!

Bishop Transport VTOL (Veteran) MechWarrior: Dark Age In the discussion on the Miniature "Bishop Transport VTOL (Veteran)"
darphpopeye United States
Avatar for darphpopeye
The Bishop Vtol Transports are a variation of the Armored Apc's from the tv series"SPACE ABOVE AND BEYOND"! This transport has the BEST passenger capacity (3) Also the Offensive range is good (6") too. This makes insertion and Evac missions its primary goal. Offensive or Defensive measures is one target shots. If this transport was a little closer to the Marine apc in the tv series it would be able to take on two or three targets at the same time! But still overall I like this piece!

Cardinal Transport (Elite) MechWarrior: Dark Age In the discussion on the Miniature "Cardinal Transport (Elite)"
darphpopeye United States
Avatar for darphpopeye
This piece reminds you of a similar except larger transport from the movie Avatar! The Cardinal Transport gets one Ranged fire shot per a turn, and can carry 2 passengers. Though this piece doesn't have the capacity as the Bishop Transport Nor can it be used in the Vacuum of space, This transport ship can perform insertion and evacuation missions with relative ease! Although it has a good offensive punch...The range is poor (4"). I'd Escort this vtol with The Skadi, yasha and Gossamer Vtol fighters to make sure this transport comes back unharmed.

Galleon Light Tank (Elite) MechWarrior: Dark Age In the discussion on the Miniature "Galleon Light Tank (Elite)"

Avatar for darphpopeye
This vehicle is a variation of the original from the "CRUSHER JOE" vehicle. This vehicle not only had the gun on the top as wellm as on the right and left sides, BUT also had enclosed by a hatch: one missle launcher on the right side and left side(short or medium range) and a large missile launcher in the back (firing forward that was either short, medium or long range). Battle Tech had a piece that closely resembles the the Crusher Joe version.

The Hauberk Battle Armor is an excellent choice for spoiling attacks or recon in force attacks. when used together to attack a 'Mech' All components should be used to get the best most favorable result either as a formation all firing independently.

This unit of Tora's Raiders Can cripple the easier targets and put the harder targets on notice that a unit is out there that can give it headaches! Best used for recon or spoiling attacks by itself or if used with other Tora's Raiders units in a spoiling or reguard action.
