I collect Martians and Terrasaurs and mostly play martians because I like the models the most. Tow is a great ability as I had another player use it against me to drag my power pod away from being on a power square and next to a building causing me to lose securing the building. That was irritating.

I try to run two of them, that way I can keep one in the back and put all my long range units around the front one to secure it and get the extra movement.

The bug theme looks fun, I just can't seem to make mixed faction teams work real effectively. I always have more "good ideas" than dice.

Unless there is a special scenario, why would you play with only four figures?

Played this set last tourney- it went really well. The Cthul Phalanx works well.

For those not familiar with the Cthul Phalanx it consists of:
Grunt Spitter, Grunt Squix, Elite Spitter, Elite Squix.

Have the grunts in front with the elites in back and sit them between two buildings (preferably Bank HQ) and blast away at anything that gets close.

Be careful of units with explosion and chain reaction. This formation with a corrupter near-by will hit DEF 7+ monsters pretty consistently.

I really recomend 3 or 4 explodohawks. I am a planet eaters specialist. i have won many battles with my armies. I would put them in instead of all the destructomites and crawlers. i would lose 2 destructomites and 1 crawler. with rogzor, you don't need flank and the other ability.

quote from fossilkarp:

After facing terra khan i'd have to say you may want to switch the number of carnidons and raptix. they're faster and with jump they can get into the fight no matter where khan is which is important as feeding frenzy will take any opponent by surprise [or maybe just me lol]

that's just my opinion though. i find carnidons are better for securing buildings and dealing with some units.

but the spikodons are right on the money. those things can be hazardous to your opponents health if you get a good roll [watched one take out two of my units and two buildings in one shot!]

yea, I was thinking that myself, but right now i have way more carnidons, so thats why I did this setup. oh yea! I love those spikodons! Q who doesnt love the spikes? A anyone who does not play terrasaurs! hehe
