Here's a more fun entry from your local monster hunter.

quote from Return to Savage Shores:

Lasses' Lament
RSS-002, Rare

Points: 14
Masts: 5 (Giant Squid)
Cargo: 1
Move: L
Cannons: 2S-2s-3S-3S-3S

Ability: Sea Monster As part of a move action, this sea creature can initiate a boarding party against a ship up to S away from her, without having to ram. The boarded ship can’t use any boarding bonuses.

Flavor: Known to sweep the decks of unsuspecting ships when the moon is gone from the sky, Lasses’ Lament earns its name on a weekly basis.

Lechim Namod is proxy for it. It and the Behemoth will board from beneath the waves; Behemoth might be able to copy captains, helmsmen, or whatever other ability I want; the primary focus here is on boarding to kill crew.

This one and Behemoth swim to cause trouble. I don't expect a win with this fleet, though. The Carolina can pull double duty, but it wouldn't be of much help. She supports the monsters with Jerky Johnson. Behemoth can support Lasses' Lament with that ability as well.

A fort is present and unlikely to be built.

I put in an abandoned Captain and Helmsman to try and give the Carolina fangs, but an enemy could get them first . . .

I tried to make a fleet like this, focused on the S-Board but wasn't satisfied with what I could do with 50 points, heh. I love S board!

Frightening for sure, to see two squids on the other side of the table, especially when one of the is the Behemoth who can pick up a captain's ability to wreck some havoc. If played effectively, they could make your opponent struggle, but you probably can't win with this fleet, as you admitted. You have a gold ship though, and a good UT choice just in case.

3.9 Difficult to win with, but good setup for two squids
