Once per turn when this ship is given a shoot action, one of her cannons may shoot a firepot at a ship within S of her. Declare which cannon will shoot the firepot before rolling the d6. If it hits, the ship's controller replaces one of her masts with a fire mast. At the beginning of every turn, roll a d6 for each fire mast. On a 6, remove the fire mast; on a 1-3, the ship's controller replaces another of her masts with a fire mast. When a ship has only fire masts, she must be scuttled on her next turn. When a ship docks at her home island or a fort, remove all of her fire masts as a free action.

Out of the 4 ships that made up my fleet, Quigley was my lone under-performer. She was unceremoniously sunk before my second turn by a fast moving Deliverance without ever firing a shot.... I was hoping have her run escort with Frontier. Or have her join up with my powerful Constitution/Denver squadron as needed.

The Frontier won the game, period. Out of all the gold collected, only 6 came from sinking enemy ships....
I believe my opponents gold totals were as follows:
Opponent 1 (mixed fleet): 13
Opponent 2 (Pirate fleet): 36

The Quigley is a great small gunship but the fragility makes her somewhat expendable, as proven by you winning without her.

I really love that you basically have a Constitution firing at 1L for all 5 cannons, that is my type of firepower!! (I love L range guns and think the difference between them and S range guns is a bit underrated, and I have bad dice luck on shoot actions so I need very accurate cannons to succeed in combat)

The Frontier is absolutely amazing, a true game-winner, and somehow underrated, seeing how some people don't consider her usable in a standard game. In even higher point games, she thrives even more because she's not always the center of attention. Cool that you got more gold than the other fleets combined!

Just a note: in the official multiplayer rules, all gold on sunken ships is removed from the game, rather than split between players like in the 1v1 format.

Feel free to post results of your games in the Battle Reports thread! Between the description and comment it would make a nice addition to the thread.
