Been working with low-point build totals for various nations. This has been a fairly effective fleet for the cursed.

The obvious mainstay of this fleet is the Clear-Wind. Featuring El Fantasma from Ocean's Edge.
The helmsmen serves to increase the speed and striking distance on a somewhat small and slow ship, to give it the edge. And the oarsmen are obviously just SAC fodder. So that's the main gunship.
There are then two gold gathering ships, the Pestilence, and Lizard's Sting. These guys are quick and can snag some decent coins.
And lastly, the Crocodile. This is an exceptionally cheap cursed gunships that can provide backup wherever it is needed. With just a simple captain.

Once again I think you'd be better served with a helmsman on the multi action gunship - the speed will help no matter what, and in this case it can increase the ship's speed quite a lot with the saccing. (from L+L to L+S+L+S)

The gold runners feel a little weak and low on cargo, but that can't always be helped with this faction. I do like how you fit 4 ships into 50 points despite the Cursed being an expensive faction to play. I'll hold off on voting at least for now; I'd rather get the first shot with three 3L guns due to the helmsman than get blasted and have 2 (with the musketeer) or no cannons left to fire back with.

Sounds like it's won some games? Was that against the other major factions?

Wow nice! You managed to up the firepower considerably while keeping the cargo about the same. Good job with that; now I'd say it's quite formidable at 50 points considering the limitations of the Cursed.
